How can I treat a extreme dry scalp not hair.?

My scalp is extremely white %26amp; dry. My hair has thinned out so much around my bangs since I've had this. It's really embarrassing and really lowering my self esteem.

How can I treat a extreme dry scalp not hair.?

Try massaging your scalp with olive oil, leave for 5 mins before shampooing out.

Are you sure it's just dry scalp/dandruff? Do you have psoriasis? Neutrogena T-Gel will help with either of those. But if it's psoriasis -- or could be -- you should see a dermatologist.

Does anybody else's golden retriever have a white spot on it's chest?

my pure bred golden retriever has a white patch of hair on his chest... i've never seen another golden with it before. i'm sure that he's a pure bred because his parents were akc certified just my dog cooper isnt because we got him fixed

Does anybody else's golden retriever have a white spot on it's chest?

Freedom got it right on the nose. It would be considered a fault in your golden hon. Especially if he is very dark to begin with. It would be too much of a contrast with his body coloring.

Now this doesn't make him any less of a Golden at all. He is yours and you love him. That's all that really matters. Right?

Does anybody else's golden retriever have a white spot on it's chest?

omg, my dog has one on his tummy it is normol trust me!

trust me!!!!

Does anybody else's golden retriever have a white spot on it's chest?

Your dog is still registered with the AKC (assuming you got papers when you got him), neutering will not change this.

And thank you for getting him neutered!

As for the white patch, yes, it is possible to have a purebred golden with a white chest. While it's not common, it does happen.

Does anybody else's golden retriever have a white spot on it's chest?

my friends dog does, but im not sure if shes a pure breed

Does anybody else's golden retriever have a white spot on it's chest?

It is very normal, I have 2 goldens and they both have them. It's just the way their chest-feathers are. Their tail feathers and also their butt-feathers are all whitish-light golden.

Does anybody else's golden retriever have a white spot on it's chest?

According to the breed standard:

Color -- rich, lustrous golden of various shades. Feathering may be lighter than rest of coat. With the exception of graying or whitening of face or body due to age, any white marking, other than a few white hairs on the chest, should be penalized according to its extent. Allowable light shadings are not to be confused with white markings. Predominant body color which is either extremely pale or extremely dark is undesirable. Some latitude should be given to the light puppy whose coloring shows promise of deepening with maturity. Any noticeable area of black or other off-color hair is a serious fault.

Does anybody else's golden retriever have a white spot on it's chest?

Well that is normal it means that he is getting old.

Why dont you comb the inter-racial childs hair!!!!!!!!!?

why is that that everytime you see a mixed race couples child (mainly when the mother is white) that childs hair is always all over there heads?!!!

Why dont you comb the inter-racial childs hair!!!!!!!!!?

i see alot of kids with messy hair..not all interracial...i dont think that has anything to do with it...they are kids

Why dont you comb the inter-racial childs hair!!!!!!!!!?

umm...

Why dont you comb the inter-racial childs hair!!!!!!!!!?

My cousin has a child of a mixed race, and her hair is tidy. I am 100% white, and my hair was a damn mess as a child because I would scream like crazy when my mom combed my hair. So I really am not seeing where this assumption comes from.

Why dont you comb the inter-racial childs hair!!!!!!!!!?

If it is blond it looks bad unruly. Cut interracial child's hair real short and curl to toward their face and use the coconut conditioner it smells so good on a person that is interracial.

Why dont you comb the inter-racial childs hair!!!!!!!!!?

i dont know, it might be harder than kids of one race, i know they cant use straigteners till they are older.

Why dont you comb the inter-racial childs hair!!!!!!!!!?

What a stupid question? Kids everywhere walk around with hair all over there heads...NOT just mixed ones with white mothers....Arent you ignorrant ?

Why dont you comb the inter-racial childs hair!!!!!!!!!?

Most children's hair I see is messy, regardless of racial background. Some parents are too busy or lazy to keep neat. Or some just don't know and don't feel confident in asking people for help.

Why dont you comb the inter-racial childs hair!!!!!!!!!?

Unfortunately, people feel that you have to treat certain types of hair significantly different than other types.

Is it true that hair with African descent needs more oils and moisturizing that that of Caucasian descent. But you can still use the same products like Garnier, Pantene, Bed Head and other products which are marketed towards Caucasians only.

A lot of parents, both Caucasian and Black alike, give up trying when they can't instantly find that one product that tames the child's curls and/or makes the child's hair lay down in what people consider a standard of beauty. The parents simply chalk it up to the child having bad hair and that's a bunch of baloney.

Just my opinion.

Hair bumps?!?

i think its b.c im black cause black ppl arent supposed to wash their hair everyday like white people, but i got all this acne from wear my hairs lays on my head [bangs] i dont wear it on my face anymore but they still keep coming. how can i get it ti stop?

Hair bumps?!?

dont put so much product in your hair, that will increase pimples, and wash your face every day. i wash my face twice a day and my face isn't dried out or anything, its fine. you can also pin your hair back or use a headband or elastic headband so you can be sure no hair will ever get in your face

Hair bumps?!?

try seabreeze and st. ives apricot scrub

Hair bumps?!?

my g/f is black and the same thing happened to her (is it because of wearing your bangs like smoothed over your forehead?) She just quit wearing her hair like that and then used those Clearasil face pads for acne every day and some kind of face scrub too

Hair bumps?!?

My fore head does that every time I get hair products on it. Then I use my proactive and it all clears right up. that stuff is my miracle potion.

Hair bumps?!?

Try Aveno; the face wash and they also make a moisturizing acne cream. Getting a facial helps me and also I'm able to purchase some good skin care products that you can't find in the store.

Coloring hair??

ok well im 14 and just recenly began getting gray/ white patches of hair. yea i know...its odd...

any way i sort of what to color it, but im afraid that i will damage it and it will like like crap ( you know that type of colored hair that you see and it is so stiff that it doesn't respond to wind and has lost all shine...)

if i do color it i will get it done at a top notch salon, but i do straighten it and blow dry it and as of now i use heat protection for my hair. but will that be enough to stop the color treated hair from becoming stiff and not natural looking?

Coloring hair??

I think I need to sit down my butt is too big

Coloring hair??

If you dont color your hair all the time its going to be fine. Why dont you get some top notch conditioner and this top notch salon? That will really help. And i personally always thought that when hair is colored right it looks a lot healthier.

I have three hair problems.(1)my hair is falling (2)the length of my hair is decreasing day by day?

read this:

FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are:

Tension

Too much work

Illness

Poor diet

Over-exposure to the sun

Perming

Amateur bleaching

Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants

Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall

Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP.

Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth.

A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must.

Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday.

Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull.

Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down!

ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc.

A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness.

VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.

Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall:

Apply almond oil on scalp and massage.

Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month 闅哣 if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair.

Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair.

Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing.

Quick Hair Care Conditioner

Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable.

Honey Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour.

Alcohol Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth.

Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours

ESSENTIALS FOR FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall often Arm yourself with these tools to combat hair fall.

Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.

What can I eat to prevent premature greying?

Eating seafood is possibly one of the best things you can eat to promote all-over hair health. It is rich in zinc, iodine and protein, which are excellent for the hair. So if you enjoy seafood, make it a point to have fish several times a week. Remember that eating canned fish will not give you the same benefits as eating freshly cooked fish. If you don?t eat fish, consider fish-oil supplements.

Iron is good for hair and is found in dark green vegetables, meat and some pulses. If you are unsure about whether you are getting enough iron, include an iron supplement every once in a while in your diet. Remember that too many iron supplements can be bad for you. Women lose iron while menstruating, so perhaps during or after your cycle you can have iron-fortified supplements for a few days.

Eating foods rich in Vitamins B and C will ensure that your hair stays strong, does not break easily, and does not grey early. Pork, vegetables, whole grains, wheat germ, soymilk are all rich sources of Vitamin B, while citrus fruits are excellent sources of Vitamin C. Eating adequate Vitamin C helps increase absorption of iron. Try and have a glass of orange juice daily.

Your hair will never be healthy if you do not drink enough water. Drink at least eight to ten glasses a day.

What oil can I apply to my hair?

Rosemary oil is believed to gradually darken grey hair over a period of time. Soak rosemary leaves along with a few basil (tulsi) leaves, in jojoba oil, for a period of four weeks. Massage your scalp and hair with this oil (after warming it up).

Most oils are not easily absorbed by the hair, which is why you need to leave oil on for at least forty-five minutes. It helps greatly if you steam your hair after applying oil.

Boil dried amla pieces in coconut oil until the pieces turn black and the oil darkens. Apply this oil to the hair. It strengthens hair and prevents greying.

Boil tealeaves in water and rinse your hair with this liquid 20-30 times. Then, leave on for 15-20 minutes before the final rinse.

What else can I do to promote hair health and delay greying?

Washing your hair with very hot water or using hair-dryers excessively weaken roots, and may lead to premature greying. When using a hair-dryer, take care not to point it to your scalp. Similarly, try and wash your hair with cool or lukewarm water.

Will Yoga help?

Inverted yoga poses bring a rush of blood to the scalp. This stimulates circulation and enhances hair health. Do the following poses regularly:

Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog)

Sarvangasana

Chakrasana

Other easy ways to stimulate circulation are:

When you wash your hair, keep switching from hot water to cold water.

Comb your hair regularly. A hundred strokes every night should do the trick. If your hair is curly, use a wide toothed

I have three hair problems.(1)my hair is falling (2)the length of my hair is decreasing day by day?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

I have three hair problems.(1)my hair is falling (2)the length of my hair is decreasing day by day?

my hair falls out when i'm stressed but also when it get's past a certain length. my hairdresser reckons it gets too heavy for my roots. so maybe you should cut your hair?

I have three hair problems.(1)my hair is falling (2)the length of my hair is decreasing day by day?

Dieting can cause this. but the best help is eating plenty of fruits and vegetables daily.

I have three hair problems.(1)my hair is falling (2)the length of my hair is decreasing day by day?

i have been a hair dresser for 15 years and problem 1 = every one's hair falls out you loose up to 120 hair a day naturally problem 2= your hair is probably breaking off from lack of health. solution for this is to get a vitamine biotine at any vitamine store and use a conditioner by redkin called extream fule. might have to but from a salon but it is well worth the price. problem 3= grey is heratatery your screwed you'll get grey for many reasons , stress, family, and lack of care of yourself. hope this helps

I have three hair problems.(1)my hair is falling (2)the length of my hair is decreasing day by day?

I would just eat healthier and my science teacher said that everyone loses up to 100 hairs a day, or even more! For your 2nd problem, i would just cut my hair short, then it will start growing! Your hair maybe really unhealthy! and for your 3rd problem, whenn some of my friends are really stressed out, some of their hair turns white. I don't know how but it does!

I have three hair problems.(1)my hair is falling (2)the length of my hair is decreasing day by day?

My first and most important suggestion to you is that you hair needs vitamins. What you eat makes it important for hair growth and quality and quantity of hair. I would suggest to start a multi vitamin everyday, make sure you have protien in your diet, most vegetarians do not get ample protien. If you are a female take the prenatal vitamins for 3 months(they just have more amounts of iron and calcuim) you will get good quality hair and good quality nails, then switch to a multivitamin, once your haiir stops falling.

You should oil your hair atleast 2 times a week, I know it it smells and your hair is sticky, but your hait scalp needs oil. Once in a while apply henna for conditioning, but only if you are applying oil, or henna will furthermore dry up your hair. Use a good shampoo, like nexus Humectant and conditioner and nexus leave in conditioner.

Where gray hair is concerned nobody can help you, it is genetics, you apply henna to camaflouge the gray hair.

Good Luck, and do not be depressed, my hair use to fall in a bunch at one time, It took me a long time to realize that hair needs nutrition from internally first and externally is secondary.

I have three hair problems.(1)my hair is falling (2)the length of my hair is decreasing day by day?

hmm i dunno

just wash your hair daily

it will get rid of bacteria that is making hair fall

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

We have evidence from paintings of the time to show he was white with blond hair

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

Lol....paintings of the rennasance era, about 500 to 1000 years after the NT was compiled,NOT based on any historical reference or witness but rather on artist inclination. but the question is a good one. AT BEST, if the Jesus character were historically real, and there is more than adequate reason to question that historicity, then he would have been SHemite..that is, majority, at that time Jewish people were dark skinned, dark haired....the only Israelites that would have been of white or fair complexion, blond hair would have been converts to Judaism.

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

because in the Bible it states that he has skin of burnt brass and hair of wool. dark skin and hair of wool pretty much describes African Americans but honestly it shouldn't matter what race he is Report It

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

How can you say that because he is God he is white?

A) He is the son of God, and

B) He can still be that without being white.

C) No one, howevr they tell you can say it is a fact that Jesus was this, or that. No One can definetely say. Report It

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

Jesus is Jewish it says that in the bible Report It

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

Due to the region where Jesus lived and died, it's really unlikely that he was white (with BLONDE hair).

Are you racist or something? Will you only be Christian if he was white? Really, why does it matter?

Reponse to "addition":

You're an idiot. Jesus was the son of God - not God himself. And there is no FACT to the matter of his skin color you racist prick! :P

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

That's not evidence. That is the (chrisitan) painter painting what he believes Jesus looked like. At the time Jesus was alive, most people hadn't moved far enough to have a fair complexion. Most SCIENTIFIC evidence suugests that people in Jerusalem were (and still are) not exactly the definition of what you call "white."

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

You don't have any paintings from yhe time of Jesus. Paintings of him were made a few hundred years later. Bodies have been found in that area that have dark skin, which means Jesus was a short man with dark skin. There is no such thing as a Jesus with blue eyes and white skin.

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

He was born in the middle east and the point was for him to blend in. Simple logic suggests he didn't look Swedish.

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

well its because of where he lived the whole population is dark skinned and not white and painting aren't evidence there the artist interpretation

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

Geography makes me believe that he didn't have Blond hair. It also makes me believe that Jesus wasn't white. here aren't a lot of native white people in that area. I think the blond hair and caucasion thing is the western influence or imagination. No one will ever really know though.

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

there are no paintings from the actual time. there are paintings from afterwards but they could have been distorted because all of these people relied on oral tradition until the first gospel was written down over 30 years after he died. also only a select few saw Him--this wasnt present times where we can see people on television. they heard about Jesus but a few saw him literally.

He was pure Jewish. there are white jews today but that is because they traveled from Israel to other nations (europe, hence wwII, south america, etc) He on the other hand was very jewish, straight from the line of David (who was also very Jewish) there wasnt much mix in there of non-jews other than ruth (the only non-jew) who was somewhere in there...I think David's great grandmother.

Pure jews are not blonde...although he mightve had light skin which i doubt was too light cause he walked alot in hot temperatures including that time in desert for 40days.

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

I figure his skin tone was probably close to this:

http://www.artprints.com/images/EURO/lar...

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

Why would he be white coz he's from God? How do u know God is white? R u racist? What painting of that time? He was born in the middle east he probably looked like there other people there does it matter what colour his skin was?

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

All paintings of Jesus were from the Renaissance or later. Every know portrait was lost during the dark ages, or exists in the Vatican's private library (which is restricted). We don't know what Jesus looked like, but we do know that he most likely had the same colored skin as everybody else, or there would probably be a description about his unusual appearance in the Bible. The traditional portrait look of Jesus is based upon tradition, and not factually.

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

No Jesus was not white. The truth is, and it is a fact, Jesus was Semitic, and not Caucasian.

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

Are you on drugs? Have you researched this at all? Are you a troll?

Jesus was the same color as his parents and every one around him in the middle east

Why do some people say Jeuse wasnt White?

he is black.

Is is possible for your hair color to change a little drastically in a life time?

both me and my dad share the same kind of hair. when we were born, our hair was nearly white, then when we entered puberty and our hair turned golden, and now that hes old and im aging, he has red hair, and my hair is getting reddish, too. is that common?

Is is possible for your hair color to change a little drastically in a life time?

That is actually very common, the same thing happened to me and my mother, I went from white/blonde to reddish/light brown (golden). It happens, totally common.

Is is possible for your hair color to change a little drastically in a life time?

i think its possible. my hair changed for light blond to dark blond.

Is is possible for your hair color to change a little drastically in a life time?

yes it is. My own hair has went from Platinum to blonde to dark brown. now it's graying. ( I'm only 49)

Is is possible for your hair color to change a little drastically in a life time?

Most blondes at birth change to brown in there teens and of course then gray when they get old. So i would say that it's common.

Is is possible for your hair color to change a little drastically in a life time?

of course! it can change from the sun..

After washing your hair put mousse on it.

How does jordin sparks get her hair to stay lookin wet?

I have hair similar to hers, and mousse works the best. After you get out of the shower, detangle your hair, and then spray a golf-ball sized amount of mousse in your hand. Work it through your hair (you may need a little more, depending on how long your hair is), from root to tip. Spray in a shine spray when you're done (I reccomend Citre Shine, it works wonders!) , and you're all set!

How does jordin sparks get her hair to stay lookin wet?

its called amazing hair gel!!

Why didnt pubic hairs get white?

Pubic hairs do go grey or white with age.

Do you mean that yours are black still, then you must be still very young...

if you lack certain vitamins for the hair this will affect your whole body ...Your hair may go white with age and so do your pubic hairs.

If this is not the case then so much the better...why do you want it to grow white!

Why didnt pubic hairs get white?

They do go white!! I've already got a few, just as I've got a few grey hairs on my head and a few white hairs on my chest.

Why didnt pubic hairs get white?

What's old and gray all over? Me.

Why didnt pubic hairs get white?

Because they don't get old.

I mean they are always Young

Why didnt pubic hairs get white?

Yes it goes white alongwith age but if one keeps the area sahved it doesn't matter

Hair DISASTER! platnium blonde and orange hair?

I just got back from the hair dresses. i had a full head of blonde foils put in and now my hair is either white or orange. the hairdresser said that it would quietened down after a wash but im really SCARED please help

Hair DISASTER! platnium blonde and orange hair?

Ive had this disaster more than once... its the hair dressers fault! What you should do now is go to a pro salon and have them do a toner. That should help a lot... maybe even add some browns (low lights) and then do the toner. Then, If it still looks orangy, then id say go get a purple shampoo and def. a purple conditioner (aveda blue malva) lather your wet hair in the conditioner and let it sit for like 15 min.. then rinse.. you'll be amazed at what that stuff can do... then go over it w/ a regular conditioner, just cuz too much purple stuff can dry your hair out. anyway good luck

Hair DISASTER! platnium blonde and orange hair?

It probably will calm down a little, but you are still gonna end up with hair that is two different colors.

Hair DISASTER! platnium blonde and orange hair?

wash it and seeee!

Hair DISASTER! platnium blonde and orange hair?

As a stylist, I'd say go to back to your stylist and have her put a violet toner on it to calm down the orange.

Hair DISASTER! platnium blonde and orange hair?

If it was done with bleach... Your hair dresser lied. You have to get a toner. Go to a sally beauty supply and ask for a violet based 9 toner. They should have wella? just use that and 5 or 10 volume cream develpor and put it all over your head it wont effect your hair that has not been bleached. it will just tone it. If you need more help email me.

Hair DISASTER! platnium blonde and orange hair?

Well if the hairdresser said that it would be "quieted down after a wash", I would suggest going to do wash your hair now to see if that's really the case.

If not, go back to her and tell her that it's still not even, and for her (or someone better at coloring) to fix it, or give you advice on how to fix it, like with a toner or something.

Hair DISASTER! platnium blonde and orange hair?

If you look like this.....

http://cache.viewimages.com/xc/77274178....

LEAVE IT LIKE THAT.....because that is so amazing...

HOWEVER, if you dont like it....GO BACK TO that hairdresser of yours, and FORCE him/her to fix what needs to be fixed, because that is not what you asked to be done.

You payed your money...so he/she HAS to do what you request...

OK???

Good luck

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

how to dye naturally blackish/brown hair to silvery white by bleaching?? [at home]

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

go to a salon they Will use color not bleach i am a stylist

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

They have kits anywhere that can help you. it's this all natural stuff. I saw some at Excerd (I think I spelled it wrong) and CVS. Lots of places have it.

Good luck!

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

go to a salon!!!!!!!!!!! it will turn ur hair orange, or yellow!!!!!

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

You can get the ingredients to bleach at home at a beauty supply store.

However, in order to get it that light (it still wouldn't be WHITE, but white blond), you would probably fry all your hair off. With the shade you're starting with it would take many many applications of bleach, and this would burn your hair badly. It would be crispy and dry and frizzy and ugly and a lot of it would fall out.

i wouldn't recommend doing it.

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

you can buy the l'oreal kits ( highlights or dye) at walmart and sam's club where ever there other brands too. its easy and quick

p.s. why would you want to bleach you hair so light i bet its really pretty dark. ( no offense)

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

its best to go to a salon

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

So are you trying to ruin your hair? If you're that desparate to get it that color, DO IT AT A SALON! At least they can tell you if your hair is healthy enough to do it in the first place and keep an eye on it while it's processing. (You can't really say online... your hair thickness and condition will make a difference in processing time.)

Take care...

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

DO NOT DO IT YOU WILL REGRET IT SOOOOO BAD!

Im telling you. Black hair will take a few tries to get completely bleached. Quite a few. That will tear your head up! It will sting and burn and itch all at the same time, and when its all over, your hairs fried and youve got quarter sized, 1/3 of a centimeter thick scabs.

Plus, it will look horrible. I promise you you will regret it.

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

you cannot do this at home......you will only get to ORANGE. even in the salon this is going to be difficult....they will probably have you sign a waver releasing them from liability should your hair melt and fall out....which is very possible. But when your hair is this dark, then that is what you are risking......hair melting off your head. the only ppl who bleach out this much are strippers and porn stars.

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

Do not even attempt to do this yourself. You are attempting to lift your natural color about 8 levels. There is only 10 in the scale.

Attempting to do this yourself you could possibly end up with a freaky orange or frying you hair off.

We hairstylists do go to school for a reason.

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

go to a salon and they'll do it

Hair hair hair: BLEACHING help!?

Also Stylist.

Go to salon, they may or may not use bleace, but regardless they will hvae to tone your hair if it is that dark. Black to Platinum is not something to mess with at home!!!!!!!!

You will hate your results!

The white person went before me?

recently i went on vacation and while i was in the airport i needed to cross that metal detector. because i was with my family and they heard me speak spanish they searched all of us. i am chilean and was going to columbia. i live in new york. meanwhile, the white person with blond hair and blue eyes behind me just went through the metal detector and went happily on with his life. why do they suspect just becuse i'm latina that i'm dangerous

The white person went before me?

Truly sad. Were they white security or other races? You should complain about this to the human rights commission in your area, or rather the area and state where it happened. They want to hear about stuff like this.

Also, you should contact the ACLU. The love stuff like this.

The white person went before me?

ppl are racist, they mightve thought u were planning

something in another language...

dont worry,not everyones like that

The white person went before me?

i dont no maybe its something to get use to

The white person went before me?

get used to it,, after 911, everyone should be suspected. Including whites....look at timothy Mc Vey, home grown terrorist.

The white person went before me?

What color were the security team? This might be very telling.

The white person went before me?

I find as soon as Columbia is mentioned .. they start jumping to conclusions. It's profiling.

The white person went before me?

Ignorance is everywhere get use to it, but allow it to get you down.

The white person went before me?

yes pretty much

The white person went before me?

Why are you so quick to see things like that? There are many things on a list that they look for when making a decision to search. It has happened to me a couple of times when my bf walked right through. Don't be so quick to assume, it does the heart damage, not to mention your state of mind.

The white person went before me?

wow..people are so ignorant..pay them no mind..you should of cussed them out en espanol..

Should I dye my hair? I'm a guy?

Hey, my sister says I should dye my hair like this dude:

http://www.abc.net.au/goldfields/stories...

I mean, so it's lighter but only on the top or something like that...

I'm white and my natural hair color is light brown/dark blonde.

I don't know if I should dye it because some people say it's a very redneck thing to do, or that only gay guys do it... I'd do it because I think I would look good...

Should I do it?

Should I dye my hair? I'm a guy?

if you dye your hair, give me a call sometime becuase ill think your gay!

Should I dye my hair? I'm a guy?

Hey, it's your hair. Do what you like with it! As for it being a redneck thing, that's the first I heard of that! Someone is pulling your leg. I should know: I've lived in places that had a lot of rednecks.

Should I dye my hair? I'm a guy?

No, that's passe and not a turn on for women.

Should I dye my hair? I'm a guy?

only if you want to pick up other dudes

Should I dye my hair? I'm a guy?

"Some people" are not worth listening to. Do it if you want to. The comment that only gay guys do it is ridiculous. If you're afraid you won't like it, then have it done temporarily and that way if you like it you can have it redone to be permanent or it will be a short-term dislike.

Should I dye my hair? I'm a guy?

That dude is on tv and can "get away with it" I think that guys who color their hair are gay.But that is only because around here that's the norm for gay guys..So I guess it would depend on your area...Are you man enough not to care if others think you are gay? Hmmm that's a good question..but don't get mad if you get hit on....

Should I dye my hair? I'm a guy?

I don't think anyone should dye their hair, let alone a man. Once you do it you have to keep it up and that can really be expensive. A man with dyed hair doesn't look natural.

Should I dye my hair? I'm a guy?

Do it if you want to but remember if you want to do it to make yourself look better for a girl SORRY it won't work for one Well we might think your gay (Sorry don't mean to stereotype) but that's what we think.

Should I dye my hair? I'm a guy?

What color should I do my hair?

depends on your skin tone as to which would look best on you. I think fair skinned people can do almost anything, and look good. If you have an olive color to your skin you want to be more selective with your choice.

What color should I do my hair?

What color should I do my hair?

I'm a blonde (probably about your color) and have tried going dark in the past! It was okay...but when i look back at pictures...dark was not my thing! I'm fairly tan and my natural color is probably a lighter shade of brown and having the blonde highlights just brightens it up! The brown was really blaah!

How can i make my hair un nappy without picking or perming it?

im half black and half white so my hair is really curly but nappy so how can i fix it with out messin up my curles? and mayb ad some weight 2 em

How can i make my hair un nappy without picking or perming it?

My hair is kinda crazy. If I wear it wavy, I put that cholesterol conditioner in it and comb it out while in the shower. I add Frizz Ease to keep it from getting bushy. My hair stays curly this way. SO! Comb while in shower and rinse again, add frizz ease and go! This should work for you.

How can i make my hair un nappy without picking or perming it?

Jerrycurl juice

How can i make my hair un nappy without picking or perming it?

go to a hair place.

How can i make my hair un nappy without picking or perming it?

Braid it

How can i make my hair un nappy without picking or perming it?

My kids are biracial. You need to spray with a LIGHT moisturizing spray, all the way to the scalp. Then comb or brush it a lot. Also, keep it trimmed.

My one son's hair does not need moisturizer, but the other's hair sounds like yours. he looks best with low, neat haircuts with a little style goin' on in the part, etc.

Look for products by softsheen or Mizani.

Love your locks!!!!!

How can i make my hair un nappy without picking or perming it?

i'm a cosmetologist. half of it is in the cut. right the right cut, you should look good. you can tell a good haircut cause it looks good even as it's growing out. the other part is the product. if gel doesn't work, you could always try a pomade. Crew makes a product called Grooming Cream and one of the ingredients is castor oil -- the oil penetrates the shaft of corse hair, giving it control and lustre with out being flaky or crunchy. it's a little pricy but it's sooo worth it. are you growing your hair out really long or something? If so, you're gonna go through an akward stage for a while no matter what. I say just crop it so you can keep it looking good.

How can i make my hair un nappy without picking or perming it?

cant sorry you have to pick it,.

How can i make my hair un nappy without picking or perming it?

Dread it up! It'll probably look nice on you.

What products do I use for mixed race hair?

I'm black and 1/4 white and my hair is very curly and gets very frizzy. I can wear it curly and it kinda looks like Kelis' old hair but it's a tangled mess by the next day. I usually just straighten it but if there's even a chance of rain it frizzes up.

What products do I use for mixed race hair?

I suggest that you look into Carol's Daughter products or just go to a good salon the specializes in African American hair of all types. A good conditioner helps with the frizz as well as a light pomeade.

What products do I use for mixed race hair?

Poison .

What products do I use for mixed race hair?

i am hispanic and my hair is the same way. i like to straighten it cuz like urs it gets tangled easily when its curly. keep it straight, or braid it.

What products do I use for mixed race hair?

try pink oil , its a moisterizer that tames your hair, you can get it to buy at an african hair salon

What products do I use for mixed race hair?

Prep the hair w/ a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner; lack of moisture is the reason that curls frizz.

If you want to wear your hair curly w/o frizz I would reccomend a line of products from tigi catwalk called curl booster (look at sources box). I would use the creme and the curl activator spray. Then I would use a diffuser to dry the curls; scrunch as you dry to keep the shape. Then you could rearrange a few strands w/ a small curling iron.

If you want to war it straight pin stright. Use a dryer with a pic attachment you can get at sallys it looks like this

http://www.folica.com/Solano_Willie_M_d1...

Then get some hair serum like biosilk or proclaim from sallsy and put it in your hair. Section your hair no bigger than a flat iron ( I would reccomend a professional flat iron w/ tourmaline ceramic technology) and then smooth through making sure you direct it in a downward motion. After you are complete spary with a humidity resistant spray like mizan to help it last throughout the day.

What products do I use for mixed race hair?

I'm half black and white, my hair is very soft and curly. It gets extremely frizzy in humid temperatures and dries out easily.

I used to use mousses which seemed to hold nicely but at the end of the day my hair was dried out. Also gels did the same thing, they just damage the hair slowly. You need something that will work, yet nuture your hair at the same time. That's why I suggest salon products only.

I can't really call my hair dry now, since I've been using salon products. Yup, they're expensive but worth it. Using cheap shampoo fries your hair. A cheap conditioner is ok but you should get salon shampoos for your hair type.

I personally use a serum (like a creamy gel) from the salon, it's called "curls rock amplifier" and I don't need to use much, just a nickle sized amount. It works awesomely.

Theres no point in using a salon product though if you are going to continue using store brand shampoo, so invest in a good one and watch out for sales at the salon! Usually a sale means the product has gone bad or old and they won't refund you! Trust me. I learned the hard way.

What products do I use for mixed race hair?

If your hair is still natural try looking at the products at Ouidad.com. Especially the Climate control gel and Curl Quench products. It's important to follow the directions for using them to style the curls.

You don't rub a towel on it after shampooing so as not to start frizzing. Start with it pretty wet and wide tooth comb or use a pick to detangle. Large sections starting from the underneath working up are gently raked throug with just 4 fingers making ringlets in the wet hair with Climate control gel that look like big, wet, curly noodles. When all the hair has been sectioned in the fingers in this way and it all looks like big, wet, curly noodles a good cup shaped diffuser is used on an upright head (not upside down) without touching or pushing up too much on the hair. No fingers in the hair. They'll just break open the "wet noodles" and frizz into a big afro. This can also be air dried at this point as long as you keep the fingers out.

After it's thoroughly dry the drops are rubbed into the hands and starting at the front. the palms with closed fingers (so as not to break those ringlets open) are pressed over the surface bringing everything back in a pony tail in your palms. run your fist with closed fingers down over the pony tail to the ends. This "mashes" the stiffness out of the ringlets without opening them into an afro.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but what happens when a black person's hair gets wet? Does it do something differently then when white people's hair gets wet (besides getting wet). Or do I just know a lot of over concerned people?

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

Okay, first off...people who identify as black can have just about any hair texture, from straight to very coily/kinky. As has already been stated, a lot of black women with highly textured hair chemically straighten it, and FOR SOME that means water is the enemy, at least for a while. (I learned how to swim while wearing my hair chemically straightened, and I never had a problem..in fact it never occurred to me to avoid learning a survival skill because of my hair.)

Secondly, most black MEN wear their hair natural, so it's a safe bet to say that they don't have a problem with getting their hair wet.

Thirdly, as has already been stated: The majority of black women who wear their natural texture (regardless of said texture, see first point) don't have a problem with getting their hair wet...or, at least, it's not such a huge deal that they'll go out of their way to avoid rain, pools, etc. I've been natural for 12 years and water is my (and my hair's) best friend.

As to whether you know a lot of over-concerned people...maybe you do. More likely you are like most folks (regardless of race, sadly) who think that one black person's opinions/practices/activities = all black persons' opinions/practices/activities. It's much easier to write off all black people as %26lt;insert negative attribute here%26gt; when you think that we're all the same. News flash: We're NOT.

I hope this was helpful.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

It uncontrolably curls? I have no idea and have never heard of this.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

Because they will have to cone it again. And conening your hair takes time.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

i've never heard of this either

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

because their hair is high maintenance

think about it...

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

lots of people hate their hair getting wet ..

i know alot of white men who hate it ..

generally no one likes their hair getting wet

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

if they have product in it to keep it straight or to keep it curled it will come out and smell like wet dog (which white ppls hair smells the same wet) but it is mainly about the product in it and if they had their hair done or not

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

I lived with a beautiful black lady for a couple of years, we were an 'item' she loved HOT showers, So hot I couldn't take the heat of the water! Your information is incorrect. At least from my experience with black women. Ron

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

um, go out on the street find a black person and ask them . or what that one guy said that one time ....flava flav sez....whoaaaaaa!

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

their choice

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

a lot of their hair is really curly and frizzy. so they straiten it but when it gets wet it makes it curly and frizzy again.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

Actually, I asked a neighbor this once. She would get in the pool with her kids but stay at the other end and keep her head above water. She was the overly prissy type so I just figured that was it, didn't even think about her being black.

She told me that not only do most black women that invest the money and time in to getting their kitchen fixed (whatever that means) not swim or get their hair wet, they will prop their necks so that their head does not touch a pillow or the mattress. She said some of the hairstyles are quite pricey and time consuming so they do what they can to save their do.

I just thought she liked looking pretty at all times, lol.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

Dumb answer to a dumb question:

I have very straight hair. I like mine to be wet (as long as it's not too cold outside). In fact, I wet it several times a day, like every time I'm near a sink.

So I guess the answer is because theirs is curly.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

We have different hair texture... Especially if we've gotten our hair permed or straightened, if it gets wet, it'll puff back out. Our hair's naturally curly or kinky, not straight like white people's hair.

Also, most of us have to go to pricey salons to get our hair done, if it get's wet, then that's like $65 down the drain. A waste. We don't wash our hair everyday like white people do, it's more like once a week or bi-weekly.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

Not all of us do. Depends on if the person has their hair straightened at all or not. My hair is in it's natural state, hence it doesn't "change" when it gets wet, hence I don't care if it gets wet in fact I wet my hair often. However, if a person wears their hair straightened using heat (y'all know Flat Ironing, too), or chemicals, water will cause the hair to revert and they'll need to get their hair re-done. Same as it would for a wave-y or curly-haired white (or any other) person who flat irons their hair or gets regular (expensive) salon blow-outs.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

As a black female I am very offended by this question. All black people don't hate getting their hair wet. I currently am sporting an afro so rain helps my hair get bigger and promotes my natural curls. I know when I wore relaxers, the rain would make my hair turn curly so it would defeat the purpose of straightening my hair. That was my issue but I won't say that is the problem with everyone.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

How very stupid of you to ask such an offensive question. Not all black women fear water in hair. As a matter of fact some us use water regularly on our hair. And to the person that said we don't wash out hair everyday, BS some of do.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

Its the same thing when a white person get's there hair done, they dont want it to get wet because it will mess up the style. A lot of black women chemically straighten or use heat and we all know that water will cause straightened hair to frizz or poof. Now Black women with natural tend to enjoy wetting their hair since is provides moisture to there napps and refreshes them.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

they have perms in the hair that gets washed out when water gets in and the hair gets nappy

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

A lot of black women do not like to get their hair wet because they wear their hair in un-natural, straightened styles that can be ruined if the hair comes into contact with water. Black women with natural hair tend to not mind getting their hair wet, because they love the beauty of their kinky, curly, nappy hair. Of course I am generalizing...

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

I use to be afraid to get my hair wet when I wore it straight. When I was younger, my hair was straightened with a pressing comb, which took a while to do. If my hair got wet, then it would revert back to being curly. So, it was a matter of ruining the straight style. I had a relaxer for 12 years and it my hair got wet, it would ruin the hairstyle I paid to get. Now, I'm natural. For the most part getting my hair wet does not bother me. However, there are a couple of styles that I wear that I don't want to get wet because the style would be completely ruined. But, because I have natural hair, I can easily fix it into another style if it does get wet.

So in general, the black women who don't want their hair to get wet, it's because it would ruin the hairstyle or they don't want their hair to revert back to it's textured state. (but this is not exclusive to black women, I'm sure there are women with curly hair who go through this).

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

Many black people wear relaxers and straighten their hair in an effort to hide their natural hair texture. If the hair gets wet, it goes back to that natural hair texture, ruining the style that it has been put in.

As for me, I wear my hair in styles that compliments it's natural texture anyway. Therefore, water doesn't bother me, I love to swim, and wash my hair several times a week.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

Many black women straighten their hair, and are afraid their likely expensive and/or time-consuming coifs will be ruined or their hair will get frizzy. If the hair is straightened via heat, the hair will revert back to its natural texture when wet. If it straightened via chemicals the hair will not revert back as chemical relaxers are permanent, irreversible processes, but many relaxed women still do not want their hair styles messed up (or they erroneously believe their hair will revert back). Seeing as salon services are costly and styling hair often takes a great deal of time, these people are loathe to see their time and money go down the drain because of a little water. This is not limited to black women either; there are people in all ethnicities who worry about their hair styles getting ruined by water.

Not every black person is scared to let their hair get wet, and there are many black people who wash their hair more frequently than every few weeks. I am black and I chemically straightened my hair for over a decade. I've been natural for a year and a half now. When my hair was straightened I washed my hair just as often as I do now (every other day), and I did not and do not care if my hair gets wet.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

Around the country black women are sitting at their computers going WTF did this person just ask. As you can see - many black women decided to come to this site and give you a reply - and yes we all told each other about the nonsense you posted. Anyway to answer question (with an answer that's already been posted but I think you need more confirmation since you seem to think what one black person does means all do) Blacl women styles their hair in a million and one ways and being rained on or jumping in a pool after styling would obviously defeat the purpose of getting our hair styled.

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

I am black... I love for my hair to get wet... that is too broad of a subject for it to pertain to a whole group of people. That would be like me asking why do white people smell like puppy when they get wet... but ALL white people do not have that problem... STEREOTYPICAL

Why do black people hate it when their hair gets wet?

The question has been answered multiple times, so I won't entertain it, however...

Ladies, I don't think that the original poster meant any harm or to intentionally come across as rude. Yes, it may be a question of ignorance...but why are questions asked? To seek answers. I think that this should be seen as an opportunity to educate someone about the differences that make us as Black women beautiful and unique as opposed to becoming offended and rude in your response. :o)

Ok I have natural blonde hair, and my skin is not pale, but close, do guys not like that?

No, that's the MOST liked combination.

Ok I have natural blonde hair, and my skin is not pale, but close, do guys not like that?

yes we think its hot babe.....!!!!!!!!!ssssss

Ok I have natural blonde hair, and my skin is not pale, but close, do guys not like that?

Guys like pretty much every girl......no offense. I think you're fine. Especially when it comes to sex, they will go after a girl that looks like a gorilla if she's easy. Not all guys are that way, but more than a few are.

Ok I have natural blonde hair, and my skin is not pale, but close, do guys not like that?

I find it pretty. Blonde girls are actually very sexy.

Ok I have natural blonde hair, and my skin is not pale, but close, do guys not like that?

Who cares? That's so shallow. Grow up. Be yourself. Guys like self-confidence. Love yourself.

Ok I have natural blonde hair, and my skin is not pale, but close, do guys not like that?

Do the curtains match the rug?

Ok I have natural blonde hair, and my skin is not pale, but close, do guys not like that?

You shouldn't JUST be thinking about your looks if you want guys to like you. It's about personality too. And to answer your questions, all guys are different. But really, stop being so self-conscious about your looks and more on personality and attitude. Guys don't like girls who care about how they loook too much

Ok I have natural blonde hair, and my skin is not pale, but close, do guys not like that?

What would make you say that? Guys love blondes and they seldom are picky enough to think about subtle shades of skin tone.

Peace!

Ok I have natural blonde hair, and my skin is not pale, but close, do guys not like that?

Well they like it a lot more than coal black hair and liquid-paper white skin, I'll tell you that much! LOL.

Why is it hard for a black woman like myself to find a white man????

I am open and willing to date outside my race but have yet to find a white guy. Most that I see are infactuated with the ideal white woman- thin, blonde hair and so on so on. I know that is no excuse but it would be shocking to find a guy like chad michael morray with a black female. Guys like that only date white females. White guys aren't to attracted to black females. I feel the only way to experience that is for me to move to a white neighborhood because in ny white guys like their white woman. What do you think???

Why is it hard for a black woman like myself to find a white man????

Learn to love yourself and the right man will follow.

Why is it hard for a black woman like myself to find a white man????

White guys do indeed like black women. I think the problem is, that you need to let those white guys that you meet, know you are interested. The thing is, black gentlemen are more out going and straight forward when approaching white woman. White gentlemen seem to be a little afraid or shy to ask.

Why is it hard for a black woman like myself to find a white man????

I guess old habits are hard to break. Where I live, the population is mostly white. We have alot of chinese people here going to the university, and they usually tend to date eachother only, from what I've seen anyways. I don't mind dating outside my race. My last bf was hispanic. But some people don;t want to date outside their race unfortunately. The only advice I can give you if you want a white guy is to look in an area with mostly white guys.

Why is it hard for a black woman like myself to find a white man????

Hmmmm... you're making a lot of assumptions here. In my family I have white uncles married to black women. Maybe you need to have some confidence here because you're making it seem that all white guys like thin blonde haired girls which is not true. I'm sure there are some white guys out there looking for a beautiful black chica like you. In spanish we say si se prede that means yes I can so think that you can find some one. Don't give up!!! Good Luck!! :]

Why is it hard for a black woman like myself to find a white man????

guys think Beyonce Knowles is HOTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!

why do you sound so desperate?

Hun! we all have our soul mate,so,don't you worry Dear, you have some 1 amazing for you.

don't loose hope.

black for me is very-veryvery hot and attractive.

pls be your self I'm sure u'll find some1 special just like you.

GOD BLESS.

Why is it hard for a black woman like myself to find a white man????

Black...white...do you think you might be focused too much on a color and not enough on a connection?

Why is it hard for a black woman like myself to find a white man????

I'm not sure why you are so interested in white men. They are not better than black men. I know a couple that is a white male and black female, next door to my ex husband and I have seen a few other couples like that. But it is more rare to see than a black man with a white woman. I asked my black male friend about that once and he gave me an example about being home sick and laying in bed. If he asks a black woman to get him a glass of water, she is more likely to say get it yourself whereas a white woman is likely to not just get the water but ask what else he wants. Not in a way that they are easier to boss around but they are more willing do things if the man is willing to do things too. That is what he said. I can't say how true that is. He also explained that many military men that go to countries like vietnam are more likely to find a woman there and marry her and want to stay there because their attitudes about men are much different and they are easier to get along with than American women in general. But good men, and good people in general, are hard to come by. So if you find a good man, black or white, go for it. You might just have to make yourself noticed. Flirt with him and give him some converstaions and smiles that he can't forget. Hope this helps. Oh, and yes location might matter. There are many neighborhoods and areas where black and white people are more mixed and more open to mixed couples.

Also, it is true that black men are more straight forward than white men. white men beat around the bush and are afraid to say straight out they they like you.

Why is it hard for a black woman like myself to find a white man????

You won't be happy if you pursue a man because of his race. You should just look for a good personality.

Is it important to remove old lice eggs from hair?

I'm dealing with a lice infestation, poor kid. We have removed all the lice from her head and supposedly all the unhatched eggs.

She's now left with white eggs attached to many hair follicles in her hair, but not close to the head. It's taking me forever to remove them individually, but I'm paranoid the lice will come back if I don't get them out quick enough. Would they?

How important is it to remove these supposedly "old unhatched" white eggs from her hair?

Is it important to remove old lice eggs from hair?

It is best to remove everything. The easiest way to do this is have her wash her hair and condition it really well and then leave it wet. Buy a METAL comb from your local pharmacy, not a plastic one because they don't work as well. Tie her hair up in sections and comb through each section. While combing through, make sure that you have a bowl of rubbing alcohol next to you and frequently rinse the comb between combings. It's a long, aggravating process, but it is vital that you get out all the nits or the kid will be reinfested very quickly.

Is it important to remove old lice eggs from hair?

If you don't remove all the eggs, there's a chance they'll come back.

Is it important to remove old lice eggs from hair?

You need to get them all- what if you left one or two eggs by mistake? also the stigma of others seeing it can leave the child in a horrible predicament. I know it takes forever- but it has to be done. We have a NO NIT policy- no nit may be present on the head....one nit will send the kid back home. Good luck!

Is it important to remove old lice eggs from hair?

It is tedious but yes. Sit by the window in the sun and that makes them easier to see. There is also a product called Neon Nits. that you spray on the head to make them more visable.

Is it important to remove old lice eggs from hair?

use a vey fine comb

The explanation of gray hair?

gray hair-

how does it happen?

-does the hair start growing white from the root,

- does it grow your natural color, and then lose the color and turn white?

-or does it grow your natural color, and halfway through starts growing white?

The explanation of gray hair?

grow your natural color, and then lose the color and turn white

The explanation of gray hair?

some gray hair is caused by stress, not just old age. so it just pops up. otherwise, it just starts growing that color.

make sure it's healthy- get your split ends cut off regularly.

when your shampooing your hair, massage it for a couple of minutes to stimulate the focicles

This idea is not full proof. You have to remember that hair like people is different. You can only do but so much to it. The rest is up to you body. Your body may just want short hair! You know what? That's okay because that's why somebody with brains created weaves, wigs extensions etc. So... you can always buy it! There's nothing wrong with that either!

Or you can try cutting the ends every six to eight weeks. Perming every two months. Keeping it moist but not to moist. Just praying over it and hoping for the best. Good luck

What can i do to make my hair grow?

Vitamins B, C, F, zinc, iron, copper and protein are essential for hair growth. Drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables is probably the best way to achieving healthy hair.Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.

What Can I Do With Curly Thick Hair?

I am mixed with black and white and my hair is thick and curly. I love my hair and I need a good product that will help me with damage, frizz, and dryness.

What Can I Do With Curly Thick Hair?

I have thick, curly hair as well, most of the time I straighten it. A good product for this is Kerastase the orange conditioner. It's a bit pricey, but worth the money. At salons it's more expensive, but you can find it online for a bit cheaper, like about $24.00 for a tube of conditioner.

Orange colored tube, they have cream, serum and the whole treatment line. shampoo, conditioner, treatment, serums, masks, etc...

What Can I Do With Curly Thick Hair?

I have not found a good anti frizz yet, I think they are non existant

What Can I Do With Curly Thick Hair?

just take the halle berry's short hair style

What Can I Do With Curly Thick Hair?

You need a great hydrating shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair. Dont shampoo your hair everyday, try every other day. John Frieda has a good line of frizz ease products.

If price isnt a huge issue, I recently bought catwalk shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair. I have very curly hair thats damaged and its made my hair unbelievably soft.

From what I have heard, they have great products for curly hair.

What Can I Do With Curly Thick Hair?

Count ur blessings and get some John Freida hair products.

What Can I Do With Curly Thick Hair?

wear a hat

What Can I Do With Curly Thick Hair?

V05 Silky Smooth Serum, or Patene Frizz Free Leave in conditioner. I tell you this from expirience, i have long, most of the time awesome curly hair, but thats thanks to those products. Wax also helps keep in place...

What Can I Do With Curly Thick Hair?

If it helps and you want a change u can use a straightening iron to straighten your hair or you should braid for a while, and if you don't like any of those by all means you should flaunt your curly locks!

What Can I Do With Curly Thick Hair?

Try John Frieda or any other salon brand. I would spend the money on salon products to keep my hair frizz free. Other products you can try are Bumble and bumble, Fekkai, Paul Mitchell, etc. These are pretty good brands so see which one is best for you.

What Can I Do With Curly Thick Hair?

i have the same problem. deep condition it whenever possible or make your own hair masques. i like this one

Put together in a medium bowl and squish together with your hands until it's a minty green color. Smooth into hair all the way to the tips. Put on a shower cap or wrap your head with saran wrap.

1 small jar of real mayonnaise

1/2 of an avocado

Leave on for 20 minutes. For deeper conditioning put a hot, damp towel around your head -over the saran wrap. And if you have really long hair and only need deep conditioning at the ends, cut the ingredients in half and apply only to the ends and just wrap them.

HELP! MY HAIR TURNED GREYISH PURPLE! How do I fix it?

Clearly the answer here is to use some restorative hair conditioners, give my hair a break and stop dying my hair.

But if you could see how bad this looks you would not leave it like this lol.I'm not a colour tech. I need advice.

So I normally bleach my hair with pure white maximum lift (40 volume) creme developer with powder method. I decided to go brown and went with Feria Iced Mocha thinking it was a light enough brown to take to the blonde. My hair looks awful! What can I do?

HELP! MY HAIR TURNED GREYISH PURPLE! How do I fix it?

your hair has no pigment to hold on to the color your trying to deposit, so u need to apply a filler , that is just to grab on to your hair and help hold on to the other color. Also remember that because your hair is so white and has no pigment the color you choose is going to fade very fast. so go with a color one level darker than the one you desire. Also IMPORTANT tip for going light to dark... anycolors with ASH , or NEUTRAL and NATURAL are going to turn your hair green,, and if you apply red it will be flaming. so look for colors that are warm or golden . Good luck

HELP! MY HAIR TURNED GREYISH PURPLE! How do I fix it?

ok go buy color opps it takes the color out and starts over to your natural hair color

HELP! MY HAIR TURNED GREYISH PURPLE! How do I fix it?

If you go from blonde to brown you need to use a red base, even if its just a cheap wash out..or else the hair colour can go horribly wrong..sometimes even green...but ive never heard of it going a greyish purple! if i was you id dye it with a red base and then go brown over that, and then use a lot of deep conditioner!!!

HELP! MY HAIR TURNED GREYISH PURPLE! How do I fix it?

well hmm thats happened to me before but it was more red but yeah go to a beuty supply store like sally's beauty supply and get this thing called color zap

it turns your hair redish orange but thats just a side effect

and then right after you do that dy it the color you want it to be

HELP! MY HAIR TURNED GREYISH PURPLE! How do I fix it?

use CLEAR...!!!

HELP! MY HAIR TURNED GREYISH PURPLE! How do I fix it?

do not try to correct your own hair, if it goes wrong again it will cost u a fortune at a salon, there is no pigment in your hair due to stripping it with the bleach, book an appointment now

Permanent hair straightening question! help!?

I want to permanently straighten my hair but i dont know the dangers? are there a lot of chemicals involved? will it mess my hair up? im half black half white and my hair is more curly than not. so someone can u please help me? thanks bye!

Permanent hair straightening question! help!?

i tried one and yes there are a lot of chemicals involved. the one i tried was a do it yourself one; not done in a salon. it didnt do anything to my hair. i couldnt find any hair dresser that would chemicaly straighten my hair. they all said it was just too risky with my age and the damage it could do to my hair..i personally will never do it again but if you want to take those risks i say do it but i wouldnt.

hope i could be of some help and good luck on it.

Permanent hair straightening question! help!?

I have this problem as well except im puerto rican. My hair is probably just as curly. I love str8ning my hair too and wish that it could be permanetly straight but it will damage your hair BIG TIME.once you do it, it will never look the same. I say dont do it!!

Permanent hair straightening question! help!?

if your hair is very curly,, i won't recommend,, cz of the regrowth.. but the results are great,, will dry up the hair some,, as long as you got no other chemicals,,such as color and stuff will be fine,, but think about straight hair with curly roots,, so go for consultation and see what they say,,

or get relaxer,, won't be straight as pin but more manageable,,

Permanent hair straightening question! help!?

i tried it once, and my felt synthethic

Permanent hair straightening question! help!?

It will grow out and you will have to get it done again...it is bad on your hair...and it dries it out..there are chemicals involved.

Scene and curly hair help please .. thanks alot !?

is relaxing ur hir when its curly gonna ruin the curls forever .. btw im 14 .. im mixt .. ( black+white) .. but my hair is rlly curly but silky ... and i got it thined .. but im straightening it like almost each day and i dnt wanna ruin my hair forever .. so should i go with a relaxer.. if so what kind would work best ... like not damage thx alot !

oh and also very important lol..

kk..so i have curly hair like rlly rlly curly btw im mixed lol .. and so istraighten my hair almost every 2 days anyways so .. if i cut it in layers when its straight to make it look more scene its gonna look weird when its curly so.. um anyways how to cut it to make it look scene but not weird and umm.. just how to make it look scene over all

um.. well i already a side bang.. fringe w/e u wanna call it lol.. all im missing is rllly short layers but i need help like ..

Scene and curly hair help please .. thanks alot !?

I wouldn't relax it. I'd try to work with your curls and not against them. lots of girls would die to be able to get their hair hold a curl that you want to get rid of.

I'd go to whoever cuts your hair and work out a style that doesn't require all that straightening. you'll have an easier time with it, and you probably won't have to put as much stuff in it to keep it straight either.

Scene and curly hair help please .. thanks alot !?

It will get damaged, but your hair grows out so it wont be "forever"

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

All ethnic groups including whites have GENERALLY (yes, it's a sweeping generalization) come to fear and or distrust white men. I'm not just talking about the typical thugged-out white guy. Face it, a black woman in an elevator alone with a white male (no matter how he looks) prays for the elevator to hurry up and arrive at her floor. Shop owners cringe when two white males enter a store together. A seat on a crowded bus or train remains empty if there's a white male sitting next to it. A white male in a parking lot means trouble. God forbid you make eye-to-eye contact with a white male. The hairs on the back of your neck stand if there's one behind you, especially at the ATM. You gather your wife and kids close to you when one approaches. Of and course, the purses get clinched and car doors get locked. The list goes on and his appearance makes little difference.

How do the above situations make you feel as a human being? Keep this in mind when answering question.

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

Considering that people have had so much exposure to white men committing crimes, I don't blame people for being wary. Whites have done very little to publicly change the stereotype that haunts them. They are always in the news rioting and committing crimes not only against other races, but against each other. Popular white music degrades women, and law enforcement. Whites are always on about how everyone else is holding them down. The reality, is the "I'm just a victim of society" attitude is what holds them back from success. So if someone wants to be afraid of me simply because I'm white, maybe my own race is partially to blame. How do I feel? It's not fair, but I understand why.

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

I don't know I should probably go ask a minority

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

Because they do not play a role in society or I can not figure out what their role is? can you enlighten me? They once were head of the house and made a family a living and went to where they were needed in the world to save our country which they do not fight for their country ,,,Now women go to sperm banks to get pg as they raise the children by themselves anyways and no marriages. so I ask ???

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

I don't feel distrusted by all, and I think you may me disturbed for asking a question like this.

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

Well I distrust whites greatly, but everyone else seems to love them, we must all remember we have been brain washed by the whites, they are just as violent as any other culture and moreso. They have no remose for the destruction of others.

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

I agree my boyfriend can beat the **** out of ANYONE!

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

Is this one of those "walk a mile in my shoes to see how it feels" diatribes, except that you really mean black males?

Racism encompasses all races, creeds and nationalities.

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

Whats wrong with white guys?

What do you have against them?

What did they do to you?

Some R cute!

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

oh right, irony!

The 1950's called...they want their racist preconceptions back.

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

Is this a joke? The people at Yahoo should ban your

rascist *** from this wibsite forever!

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

No, my friend that's just being racist. I as a white man, only feel "intimidating" when I wear black. Weird huh? Matter in fact, I'm disgusted by the color white. Black men don't intimidate me, why should they feel intimidated by white men? We're a multi racial world, if you feel intimidated by a different colored person than you, most likely you're racist.

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

muahahaahah be afraid

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

Can you stop being racist. Why is it that ignorant and uneducate people think that all European Americans are out to get every other race and they must unite to get rid of the European Americans? I am Mexican and I am ashamed that there are Mexicans who think that. There are people IN EVERY RACE that are racist, not just European Americans.

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

I think you need to get back on your medication (Shut up fool needs to join you on meds)

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

Yeah right your funny.

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

I'm just tired of being chased around by women all the time for sex, I mean the myth about white men being sex machines is true....but I want to be appreciated for my mind as well.

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

Are you colorblind????

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

wasn't there an exact question like this except it was for black guys?

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

hmm okay this makes me mad.

black people come on here and complain

how racist white people are, but what you just said was so racist.

theres good and bad people in every race.

its pathetic that you are thinking this way.

White men: How does it feel to be feared and distrusted by all?

What?!
