both me and my dad share the same kind of hair. when we were born, our hair was nearly white, then when we entered puberty and our hair turned golden, and now that hes old and im aging, he has red hair, and my hair is getting reddish, too. is that common?

That is actually very common, the same thing happened to me and my mother, I went from white/blonde to reddish/light brown (golden). It happens, totally common.
