Anything that turns hair really light blonde?

I currently have dark hair but I want my hair to be really light blonde/almost white/gray. It is for a swim thing, we shave our heads the next day but I was wondering if there are any cheap OTC products like sun-in that can easily turn your hair light blonde/white.

I definitely wouldn't use light OTC hair dye, if you have really dark hair. Your best bet would probably be to get it bleached professionally.

dont try to do it your self, because it will end up turning a nice bright orange..... i did it myself, not good..... so get it professionally done, and look forward to a future of dry, frizzy hair...

Well1 time my sister poured lemon juice in2 a bowl and let her hair soak in it and it can out bleached. So if u wana try that im sure it will work. If not ud have to get it done profesionally and u dont wana spend 2 much $ on it%26gt; But DO NOT pour bleach on ur head! I could also try a blonde hair dye. GL

Its not that hard and its about $5-$6 depending what brand.

Make sure your not allergic though.

I have dark hair too and i dyed my hair blond and it doesnt turn out an orange unless your hair is a natural redish-brown color.

Maxi Blonde would work to turn brown short hair to light yellow if you leave it on your hair long enough. A second bleaching may be necessary to get to white. A toner/dye might be necessary to tone down brassiness. This would cost around $20 for short hair if you did it at home. Be sure to have some conditioner to put on afterwards. Your hair may feel like straw. If you have long hair, please do not try this at home!

and you leave it in until you got the right color
