Why do hairs turn white?

because people get old...

i don't know that is a good question!

Why do hairs turn white?

because you dead cells (which is your hair basically) looses its pigment which keeps its color. so without it, your hair turns white.

Why do hairs turn white?

could been genetics, stress, or just old age! my bf is only 26, and he has quite a few, but its cuz his parents had a lot of white hair when they were younger.

Why do hairs turn white?

because of age, stress, lack of proteins and nutrients, and sometimes heritage.

Why do hairs turn white?

Your head runs out of colour.

Why do hairs turn white?

Initially, hair is white. It gets its natural color from a type of pigment called melanin. The formation of melanin begins before birth. The natural color of our hair depends upon the distribution, type and amount of melanin in the middle layer of the hair shaft or cortex.

Hair has only two types of pigments: dark (eumelanin) and light (phaeomelanin). They blend together to make up the wide range of hair colors.

Melanin is made up of specialized pigment cells called melanocytes. They position themselves at the openings on the skin閳ユ獨 surface through which hair grows (follicles). Each hair grows from a single follicle.

Why do hairs turn white?

They turn white with age, usually because the older you get the wiser you become. However it's known that even when you get older, even if your a porn star and your body parts gain experience, the hair there doesn't turn white. Unless your Santa

Claus. So I think the wisdom thing is a little flawed. However,

you might be able to make an image statement if you start dying your hair white and your still young, saying your very wise???

Why do hairs turn white?

Teenagers !!!

And extremely heavy bills from numerous Christmases !!

Why do hairs turn white?

Older people tend to develop grey hair because the pigment in the hair is lost and the hair becomes colourless. Grey hair is considered to be a characteristic of normal aging. The age at which this occurs varies from person to person, but in general nearly everyone 75 years or older has grey hair, and in general men tend to become grey at younger ages than women. However, grey hair per se is not actually grey - the grey head of hair is a result of the contrast between the dark and white/colourless hair forming an overall 'grey' appearance to the observer. As such, people starting out with very pale blond hair usually develop white hair instead of grey hair when aging. Red hair usually doesn't turn grey with age; rather it becomes a sandy colour and afterward turns white. In fact, the gray or white appearance of individual hair fibers is a result of light scattering from air bubbles in the central medula of the hair fiber.

Why do hairs turn white?

In Oriental medicine, the reason why peoples hair turns white is because they eat too much white sugar. I don't remember the mechanism involved in TCM theory at this time though.

But...

White sugar is not a whole food anyway. It is bleached and altered. When you eat it, your body needs to leach nutrients out of your cells in order to be able to process it properly. This causes extra stress on the body.

If you are eating foods with high levels of sugar in them, chances are, you are stressed out already %26amp; looking for a pick me up. So you could say stress causes white hair all around.

As you get older, your body doesn't replace your cells as well as when you were younger. Skin looses it's elasticity, cells in general aren't as strong and don't hold as much water as they used to. If you ask me, a lot of that is due to stress also.

Why do hairs turn white?

if something scares the **** out of you, sometimes it does that.
