I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

i recently posted a question about my 3 month old son he is white with blonde hair and blue eyes i am of mixed race my sons mother has dark hair and dark eyes we have split up because i did not believe the child could be mine but the dna proves he is min

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

Well, I will tell you how this is possible. Your alleles (physical/genetic traits) are mixed. Therefore, when your child was conceived he recieved only one of your mixed traits, not both... meaning if you are black and white, your white physical characteristics were given to the child but your overall genetic makeup was also given to him. This being said, your child could grow up and have a child with a white woman and have a baby that looks mixed. It's just the luck of the draw. Some traits are dominant and others are recessive. My mother is black/dominican(she is fair skinned, with jet black hair and dark brown eyes) and my dad is black( he is dark skinned with jet black hair and dark brown eyes). I was born a light skinned baby with brown hair and gray eyes. For some reason my eyes have since changed to light brown, so my father could have easily said "she's not mine" but genetics are very complex so I must get these characteristics from someone down the line

Congrats!

well duhhh of course DNA can prove that child is yours and it did..be happy for your song and look past his skin color just because hes not your color

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

All this means, is that somewhere in yours and his mothers ancestry are the genes for blond hair and blue eyes.

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

Ok. Congrats .....................but what is your question?

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

That is called never ending game of genes, you never know who your ancestors were, anyways congratulations :-)

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

If this is true, you seriously need to learn about the concept of "recessive" genes.

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

There must have been some dormant genes somewhere. Congrats.

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

it is what it is, just because he doesn't look like you does not mean he isn't yours. Genetics is very complex, anyway, Congratulations on your new kid!

Sounds like a scene out of My Name is Earl...lol jk

If your wife is white and you are mixed there is a great chance that your baby can have dominantly white characteristics.

I have a friend who is half black and half white who married a white man and their baby is whiter than Casper....seriously.

Genes can do some weird things and can pop up out of nowhere after generations of supression.

You should get back with her...the DNA does not lie.

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

Genetics are like that. I guess it's good you got a DNA test but no, be prepared to pay some child support because that chick ain't gonna take you back. lol

Anyone from your maternal Grandpa link or Paternal Grandpa would be white!!!!

Don't allow your ignorance to separate the family!!!

Black and Hispanic babies often have lighter color skin than their parents; the skin color usually darkens over time.

I know. My white sister had my niece Jazmin with a black man and when she came out, we were like HUH? The baby looked white. We were all shocked. My Mom even accused my sister of lying to Walter about the baby. Well, it WAS his and we were all shocked. Over time though - as her hair grew in and she darkened we knew it was Walters..........

Traits can also skip generations. If your woman is spanish - it could easily explain that. Many spainards are white, blonde haired and even blue eyes............ My ex was dark quatemala/spanish and his parents were both white as snow with blonde hair and light eyes. But those where his parents. However, he had a striking resemblance to his grandparents in old pictures. It was pretty amazing.

Do some searched online and don't stress too much. Just focus all of your energy on loving your woman and your new baby!!!!

Congrats!!!

Ciao;

If you used ethnic denominations instead of colors you'd have less confusion. You should have realized that it was possible to have a child who looked more caucasian because of the predominate gene coming half from you and fully from the mother. Many African descent people look caucasian because of the race mixing. The childs eyes will get darker as he gets older unless blue eyes are in your wifes side of the family. It's understandable that you had doubts but you should have known about the heritage involved and realized that your child would not be dark skinned.

Wonderful! :)

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

When I was 9 I had a friend who had very dark skin and a black, afro type of curly hair, everyone thought she was black or from another ethnic group. Her Mum and 2 brothers were BLONDE with olive skin and her Dad was dark haired and very pale skinned!!!

I believe it's what they call a 'throw back' to a previous generation in your family, there is a gene there somewhere with these attributes from an interracial marriage within you direct family tree. Time to go research....

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

This can happen as the genes from the white side of you wife's family will come through occasionally. Seems to me that you white son will have the biggest problem with life as you are rejecting him and no doubt the rest of your family will take your attitude. If the DNA makes a positive then there is a really good chance that he is yours, also just remember that you will have to pay for him throughout his childhood.

So, if the DNA proves it what's the point of the question. Do you think she fixed it somehow? The baby doesn't look like you. Well, there is an old African American adage that says "mam mas' baby, pap pas' maybe.!

Many congratulations. I am sorry to hear that you and your son's mother split up over this. I hope that you can make things up with her and become a complete family.

Best wishes, J

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

well that's good, you should say sorry to the mother for assuming she cheated on you.

If you have doubts simply go in for a DNA test.

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

my friend is black her daughter is of mixed race with blond curly hair and hazel eyes ! your midwife or healthvistor should have explianed this !

I recently asked a quesion about my son he is white iam black?

I think we all have ancestry we are unaware of, say your sorry to your son's Mother, don't miss out on your child.
