How do you scrunch your hair?

i have pretty naturally straight, not to thin, not to thick hair. ive tried scrunching it a few times and it never stayed wavy and when it did i had white flakes in my hair from the gel. i have some scrunching sprays and things and hair spray. what is an easy way to scrunch it, and make it stay in?

I get out of the shower, and kind of air dry it for about 10 minutes. I have Garnier Fructis Spray Gel, and I spray that in and, starting with the product at the ends, scrunch up to the roots. Then I take Brilliant Brunette Starlit Waves and spray that all over to make it stay.

You can also use Herbal Essences Curling Mousse instead of the gel, both work great!

use mousse or hairspray is good - it's what i use.

alternatively, you can buy curling spray for exactly that purpose, or a trick i learnt was to use salt water and scrunch :)

also, blowdry it with a large diffuser whilst scrunching it at the same time to hold it.

good luck

i have the same problem, i think you should use mouse and get another hair gel that doesnt giv u flakes %26amp; alot of hairspray! well what i do is i would wet my hair than put my head down to flip my hair over, use mouse, gel, hairspray etc.. then scrunch alot than i would take my hair scrunchy and tie my hair into a messy bun that night and sleep w it til morning so that way when u wake up in the mornin it is all done for you just fix it if you have too

after you shower, and its dry, put mouse in it, tie your hair into two buns on each side of your head if your hair is shorter, one if its long enough, and sleep.
