Sunsilk Purple! For unwanted waves or kinks! (it's a shampoo that cost $3)

It works so well! My hair was a frizzball, but now is pretty striaght!

Try "L.A. Looks" or "Aussie". Why not try "Prell" shampoo, for oily hair, as well.

The Hair Boutique's favorite curly hair expert has a great new product that is perfect for summer months when heat and humidify wreaks havoc with curly hair. This product is Ouidad's Climate Control.

Ouidad's Climate Control Gel puts you in control of your hair.

Special European wheat resin, vitamins and plant extracts are activated by heat and humidity to tame, smooth and control curly, unruly hair leaving it soft, manageable and full of shine.

Conditioning agents are locked in while blocking out humidity. This new product is excellent at protecting hair from blow-dryer heat when a straight style is required.

How to use:

Rub a small amount into your hands and distribute evenly into your damp hair, section by section. Do not rinse the product out.

Clip your hair into place to dry naturally or activate with heat during blow drying to straighten hair.

Ingredients:

Water, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinyl Palmitate, Panthenol, Wheat Amino Acids, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein/PVP Crosspolymer, PEG-60 Almond Glycerides, Kiwi (Actinidia Chinensis) Fruit Extract, Henna (Lawsonia Inermis) Extract, Matricaria (Chamomilla Recutita) Extract, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PVP/DMAPA Acrylates Copolymer, Hydroxyethylcellulose, PPG-26-Buteth-26, Polyquaternium-28, Propylene Glycol, Dimethicone Copolyol, Dimethicone, Methylparaben, DMDM Hydontoin, Fragrance.

Ouidad's new product can only be purchased from Ouidad's site or by calling her New York salon at 1-800-677-HAIR.

The Climate Control comes in 4, 8 or 32 ounce bottles. The price ranges from $12 (USD) to $56.00 (USD) for the large 32 ounce bottle.

Ouidad's new Climate Control is a godsend for curly hair trying to survive in the summer heat and humidity. If you want more information about this new product visit Ouidad's website.

Have you tried applying gel if not try some hair straightening lotion. That should work and is inexpensive.

Hair wax!

Low Maintenance way: Chemical Straightener... it sounds scary, but its not, I promise. And, it's simple.

I'm also blonde, white, with uber curly locks so don't be afraid.

You can pick some up at your local wal-mart; it's near the boxed perms. They aren't that effective, so just leave it on for a little less than the prescribed time and it won't completely straighten your hair, just calm it.

Just follow the directions and you won't have to worry about putting styling product in every day.
