my question is very specific,,,i would really like to know if a white mother,eyes are green brown hair totally all white ,,while father is dark indian black hair dark brown eyes,,,,is it really possible that the child can turn out to be white,,,,the child has golden hair blue eyes and all white ,,the child is not even dark,,how is this possible,,very concerned

well yah that's possible. because the white trait could stay the dominant trait and the dark the recessive or visa versa. and then if the kid is white with the recessive dark gene but marries someone who is white their baby could be dark bc the one person has it in their dna

It's quite possible. I don't know if your talking East Indian or American Indian - but both have traits that tend to be recessive in multiracial children. It's all genes, and almost anything is possible.

my mother is asian, my father is american, my brother and i are half asian and half american. my brother was born with blonde hair and blue eyes, but a couple of years later his hair turned dark brown and his eyes are now hazel, a mix of green and brown. if the child is light skinned now it doesnt mean it'll always be that way. the child will indeed tan easily and tan dark and more than likely the child will have brown hair when it's all said and done. the same thing happened with my brother and a lot of other people i know, some were mixed with american and indian!!

if you question the paternity of the child do a DNA test it is just a swab of the mouth for both father and child. It is totally possible my hubby and i both have dark hair but were totally blonde when we were kids so all of our children were towheads blonde with blue eyes and now none of them are blonde they all have brown hair blue eyes. The baby may change over time getting darker skin at he/she gets older and look for the eye color in other relatives like her parents or siblings.

Absolutley. I married a puerto rican and my baby has green eyes and brown hair, and is about as white as humanly possible. He only has a few of his dads traits, his nose and ears and eye shape. We live in the north. Hair, skin, and eye color are multiple allele. They are not necessarily strictly recessive and dominant like some other traits. I have noticed it tends slightly to the mother, and whether the mother and her ancestors grew up in a cold climate.
